Web Connect uses the QIF protocol to give you one-way connectivity between your online banking web site and Quicken, and the QBO protocol for QuickBooks users. Using the "Export" function, you can now download your banking history and activity from your Checking, Savings and Money Market Accounts for faster and easier reconcilement!
Downloaded transactions are automatically matched with existing transactions behind the scenes, and new ones can be manually entered into the register. The Web Connect functionality found in QuickBooks automatically matches transactions and updates balances when you log onto your internet banking site.
To access Web Connect on our new system, you must first "deactivate" your account and then "reactivate" (within your software program) according to the listed instructions. Please click on the link that is appropriate to your specific software needs.
Once these instructions have been submitted, sign-on to the BankFIRST website and access online banking. Follow these steps:
- Select the account you wish to work with from the "Account Overview" screen.
- Click on the "Time Period" section and enter your timeframe of information to be exported.
- Click the "Go" button. Please allow the system to refresh.
Select your download function from the drop-down box and click the "Download" tab.
